I’m Nicolas Saavedra, an interactive designer specializing in UX/UI Design, with extensive general design knowledge. My goal is to create intuitive, user-centered systems by leveraging Human-Computer Interaction principles and Design Thinking frameworks. I bring experience in working with Agile teams to design cloud-based software solutions, ensuring seamless and scalable user experiences.
My Process
Scope and Research.
As a UX designer, I prioritize thoroughly understanding the project’s scope. By conducting user research and employing human-centered design principles, I ensure that the needs and preferences of users are at the forefront. Clearly defining terms and prioritizing user stories allows me to establish a robust framework for success. Setting a precise scope from the outset ensures more effective and successful outcomes.
Ideation and Testing.
Once I understand the problem and user needs through comprehensive user research and human-centered design principles, I generate multiple solutions through sketching and experimentation. Using Design Thinking methodologies, I refine and narrow down these ideas based on feedback. Working in an Agile team environment, I focus on developing and testing one or two of the most promising solutions to ensure they meet user needs effectively.
Launching and Measuring.
Once I am confident in the solution, I transition into build and launch mode. I produce assets, provide feedback, and conduct QA and usability testing to ensure the design intent and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) principles are carried through to the final product. This thorough approach helps maximize the return on investment (ROI) by delivering a high-quality, user-centered solution.
