Hiking Pass
About Hiking Pass
Hiking Pass is an innovative Augmented Reality (AR) app that gamifies the traditional story of the mountain using AR characters. As users hike up, they scan stickers on trail signs to unlock characters and objects that enrich the mountain’s story.
Developed specifically for iOS using the Unity Game Engine, Hiking Pass was showcased at the CMSI semester exhibition. Visitors could explore the narrative of Schlossberg in Graz by scanning stickers on trail signs to collect missing items and ultimately discover the main character at the summit.
